What makes this region feel like home? What people, places, traditions, and memories shape our sense of belonging? How do we create spaces where everyone feels seen, welcomed, and valued? These questions inspire Passion Works Studio's newest mural in partnership with the Storytelling Institute.

✨ At our first collaborative art night, members of the Ohio Women's Basketball team created alongside the Simpsons, a family impacted by childhood cancer. Together, they transformed personal memories into sketches, symbols, and words that will become part of vibrant public artwork.

From winding roads and blooming cherry trees to flowers that thrive in storms and handwritten six-word reminders like we are a “small community with one big heart,” each contribution offers a glimpse into the people and experiences that help us feel connected.

We say farewell to our sweet friend “Passion”. She was a friendly, fluffy addition to the studio experience- She would cuddled up with Tiffany, patiently rest on the art table with everyone working around her - she was a unique rabbit. Athens Angoras

Passion traveled with Lisa Moretti and volunteered- as a “Smile Maker” at Passion Works Studio. Passions sat on the World Clock at the Naval Observatory in Washington D.C., spent a very memorable Halloween in Baltimore MD, experienced Chincoteague, VA - to note a few adventures.

She was a character and will be more than missed- and we’re so glad to have met. 🌸💗🌸

After traveling from Peacehaven to Passion Works Studio and back again, the You Belong Here quilt has returned to Greensboro, North Carolina. Today, we celebrate its unveiling and the many hands, hearts, and imaginations that made it possible.

The quilt is a living record of collaboration across states, studios, and communities. Along the way, artists and storytellers added new images, stitched new connections, and expanded the story of what belonging can look like.

The quilt reminds us that belonging is something we create together, piece by piece, story by story.

Thank you to everyone at Peacehaven, Passion Works Studio, Ohio University Scripps College of Communication, UNCG Communication Studies Department, and beyond who helped this project travel, grow, and flourish.

Passion Works has purchased a Fabulous building on Athens’ Main Street - historical, 8,300 square feet, lots of windows, wide open space…now we are in the process to raise the funding to build out the space!

Woohoo!! Intern Sophie Unterhaslberger - comes to us via Ohio University Honors Tutorial College 🙌💗🙌 and she made her first Passion Flower!! Woohoo! Sophie is a sculpture major in the Ohio University Chaddock + Morrow College of Fine Arts - does it get any better??!!
