It's time for the Summer Decathlon! The event kicks off today 6:30 p.m. on the Middletown High School track. Come join us for a fun evening of events not typically found on road or trails.

This evening will feature a 1-mile warm up run, the 1600-meter race, a youth 100-meter fun run, and a 2-mile handicapped race where the less fast runners get a head start. The series is open to all Steeplechasers members and best of all…it’s free! All members of all ages and speeds are welcome and no experience is required…you’ll learn on the run!

NOTE: The other 9 decathlon events will take place on the Frederick High School track beginning at 6 p.m. each Wednesday through the end of July.

Come out and support Parkway Elementary School by taking part in the Parkway Panda 5K & 1K Fun Run event on Memorial Day, May 25, 2026. The course will wind its way through beautiful Baker Park and the surrounding neighborhoods.
Race Start Times are 8:30am for the 1K Fun Run and 9:00am for the 5K.
