What matters most in the life of faith is not appearing perfect, but allowing our hearts to be shaped by grace.

In this week’s sermon, “From the Heart,” we’ll explore Jesus’ challenge in Mark 7 and consider how God forms us over a lifetime—through worship and prayer, friendship and service, joy and sorrow, and the simple practice of sharing life together. We may be imperfect vessels, but God continues to work within us, shaping our hearts more and more into the likeness of Christ.

And in the end, a heart shaped by grace becomes a vessel through which God’s love is poured into the world.

In Ephesians, we are told to “stand firm”—not through toughness or sheer determination, but by trusting the gifts God provides: truth, peace, faith, prayer, scripture, and one another. Standing firm isn’t about being stronger. It’s about learning where to place our weight.

This Sunday we'll explore one of Bible’s most beloved Jesus stories: the feeding of the five thousand.

When the disciples saw scarcity, Jesus saw possibility. A child's simple lunch—five loaves and two fish—didn't seem like much. But placed in Christ's hands, it became more than enough.

In a world that often tells us there isn't enough time, hope, love, or resources to go around, Jesus invites us to trust a different story. Small acts of kindness, generous hearts, welcoming communities, and ordinary people can become extraordinary channels of God's grace.

Join us as we discover how Christ still transforms small offerings into abundant blessings—and how each of us has something meaningful to bring.
