Save the Date! RDC's 51st Annual Membership Luncheon is scheduled for Wednesday, June 17 at the Dena'ina Center in Anchorage.

We are pleased to announce David Fotouhi, deputy administrator of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, as this year's keynote speaker. Deputy Fotouhi's keynote address will be followed by a fireside chat featuring Alaska industry leaders, offering additional perspectives on the issues impacting our state.

This year's program will highlight how “We Do It Best In Alaska”, from environmental stewardship to cooperation with partners and government agencies, all while driving growth across Alaska’s leading industries.

Register today and join us for one of RDC's signature events of the year: akrdc.org.

On this day in 1977, construction of the 800-mile Trans-Alaska Pipeline System was completed with the final weld near Pump Station 3.

As Alaska marks the 49th anniversary of this historic achievement, we’re reminded of the vision and determination that helped connect our vast natural resources to the world.

TAPS remains one of the most ambitious infrastructure projects in U.S. history and an enduring example of Alaska's ability to deliver world-class projects that support economic opportunity and responsible resource development.

This Memorial Day, RDC honors the courageous men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our nation. Their sacrifice helped protect the freedoms, opportunities and way of life Americans value.

We remember those we lost and honor the legacy they left behind.

RDC offices are closed in observance of the holiday and will reopen on Tuesday, May 26.

RDC is proud to have all 12 Regional Alaska Native Corporations as members, who make up a foundational pillar of Alaska’s economy and energy future. The SBA 8(a) program is critical to this foundation and the significant benefits ANCs provide to local communities and their shareholders. Read more in this op-ed Executive Director, Connor Hajdukovich, co-authored with the Alaska Oil and Gas Association.

Policymakers in Washington should recognize what works for Alaska and the nation, including the 8(a) program, and make sure we don’t inadvertently break it.

Congratulations to Santos Ltd and REPSOL Repsol on achieving first oil at the Pikka Project on Alaska’s North Slope!

This milestone reflects years of investment, partnership and perseverance, and demonstrates what responsible resource development can deliver for Alaska and the nation. Projects like Pikka strengthen Alaska’s economy, support long-term energy production and reinforce the state’s role as a global energy leader.

RDC is proud to support the people, projects and policies helping move Alaska forward.
