Become a MENtor this summer. ☀️

Our goal is to recruit 30 new male Bigs by the end of the summer, and we need your help!

The good news? Being a Big doesn't mean having all the answers. It can be as simple as grabbing ice cream, going fishing, shooting hoops, hiking a trail, or checking out a local event together.

For a Little Brother, those moments can mean everything.

Right now, 41 Little Brothers are waiting for a mentor. Could you be one of the 30 men who steps up this summer?

June is Men’s Health Month — and at Big Brothers Big Sisters of Alaska, we’re kicking off a new summer campaign: Become a MENtor.
Right now, 41 Little Brothers across Alaska are waiting for a mentor. A role model. Someone in their corner. And mentorship doesn’t have to look perfect.
It can look like:

🎣 fishing on a Saturday
🏀 shooting hoops after school
🏋️ working out together
🚗 learning how to change a tire
🥾 hiking a trail
🍔 grabbing a burger and talking about life

Sometimes the biggest impact comes from simply showing up.
This summer, we’re encouraging more men across Alaska to get involved, build connection, and make a lasting impact in a young person’s life.
You don’t need to have all the answers. You just need to be willing to show up.
Become a MENtor.
