Connection was at the center of it all. 🧡

Recover Alaska team members Sara and Kara spent time this month connecting with attendees at our booth during the Pathways to Recovery Conference and sharing resources from the Choose Connection campaign.

Every conversation matters. Every connection matters. And together, we can help create communities where people feel supported, seen, and less alone.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by to say hello and learn more about building connection across Alaska.

Leadership rooted in passion, purpose, and connection. ✨

Recover Alaska CEO Tiffany Hall co-led a session at the Pathways to Recovery Conference last week, sharing her heart for this work and the importance of creating communities where prevention, recovery, and healing can thrive.

The session titled: "Counting What Counts: Alcohol Data Collection as a Tool for Community Action" was co-led with fellow U.S. Alcohol Policy Alliance board member Dr. Alicia Sparks, Synergy Enterprises, whose leadership and collaboration continue to strengthen recovery efforts nationwide.

When passionate people come together, real change happens. 🧡

Powerful conversations and bold leadership at the Pathways to Recovery Conference last week. đź’¬

We were honored to hear from Mike Marshall, whose work with the US Alcohol Policy Alliance continues to advance prevention, public health, and stronger communities across the country. We’re also proud that Recover Alaska CEO Tiffany Hall serves as Chair of the organization, helping bring Alaska’s voice and leadership to the national stage.

This Mother’s Day, we honor the moms who are breaking cycles.

Choosing recovery is more than a personal decision - it’s a gift to your children, your family, and future generations.

It’s rewriting the story.
It’s choosing healing over harm.
It’s building something new.

That kind of love is powerful.

Silence can sound like “I’m fine”…
But too often, it’s really “I don’t want to be a burden.”

This May, for Mental Health Awareness Month, let’s change the sound of silence. Let’s make it louder with connection, compassion, and community.

Because the truth is: you are not alone.

At Recover Alaska, we believe strong, connected communities are key to supporting mental wellness and reducing the harms of alcohol. When we share our stories, we help others feel less alone - and remind each other that healing is possible.

Turn your everyday shopping into meaningful impact - at no extra cost to you!

By signing up for Community Rewards through Fred Meyer, a portion of what you already spend on groceries and essentials will be donated to Recover Alaska. It’s an easy, automatic way to support healthier communities every time you shop.

Even better? Every household that signs up counts. The more people who participate, the greater the impact we can make together.

It takes just a few minutes - and makes a difference all year long!
