✨ Celebrate Disability Pride in Downtown Anchorage!

This Saturday, the Anchorage community will gather at the Delaney Park Strip for the annual Disability Pride Celebration. This free, inclusive event honors the 36th anniversary of the Americans with Disabilities Act and celebrates the talents, contributions, and diversity of people with disabilities throughout our community.

Enjoy local vendors, food trucks, a petting zoo, face painting, and so much more. This year’s national theme, “The World Works Better With Us,” highlights the importance of awareness, accessibility, belonging, and creating communities where everyone has the opportunity to thrive.

Everyone is welcome to enjoy an afternoon of community, connection, and celebration!

🥯 Bagels are back in Downtown Anchorage!

There's a new reason to make a stop downtown. Little Rituals has officially opened its doors on 2nd Avenue, bringing fresh bagels, locally roasted coffee, and a welcoming new gathering space to the heart of the city.

Opening day was a huge success, with bagels selling out before noon—a great sign of the excitement surrounding this woman-owned local business.

Don't miss the Anchorage 250th Independence Day Parade this Saturday as festive floats, classic cars, community organizations, and patriotic spirit make their way through the streets of downtown.

The 4th of July Festival begins at 10 AM on the Delaney Park Strip, with the parade starting at 11 AM. Afterward, stick around for carnival rides, food trucks, local vendors, live music, the Alaska Baseball League doubleheader, and fireworks to end the celebration! 🎆
