Join us for an all-star event for a great cause! We're proud to partner with the Bear Tooth to bring you another evening of AK Sports Shorts.

Make sure to grab your tickets in advance to support the Game Changer fund, which helps break down financial barriers for Alaska youth in pursuit of sport and recreational activity!

AK Sports Shorts is BACK!

Join us for year three as we welcome back Healthy Futures with a night filled with stories of inspiration and adventure!

A portion of the proceeds benefit the Healthy Futures Game Changer's efforts to get Alaska kids in the game by providing small grants to youth from low income families to increase their access to sports and recreation opportunities. Healthy Futures is a program of the 501(c)3 non-profit Alaska Sports Hall of Fame

A big thank you to all the Crow Pass Crossing sponsors, volunteers, supporters and racers who made the 41st CPC a success!

Congratulations to this year's overall winner, Allan Spangler, and our women's champion and record-holder, Christy Marvin. Christy now holds 9 CPC titles, tied with Nancy Pease.

Each year, all proceeds from this event go towards HF programming. Below is a photo of Allan with his two children at the finish line. We believe sharing active experiences as a family builds strong bonds, improves physical and mental wellness and teaches youth lifelong healthy habits.

What a nice reminder that no matter your age, getting out and moving every day is how we can keep our minds and bodies feeling good.

We appreciate our Elementary Challenge coordinators across the state who are doing innovative and inspiring work to keep Alaska youth active.

Today, join us in congratulating longtime coordinator, Todd Boonstra, on his retirement. He has partnered in HF programming for 19 years, starting in Galena and rounding out his career at Kaleidoscope School of Arts & Science in Kenai.

When he's not in the classroom you will find him enjoying the great outdoors with his family. Whether it's skiing, hiking, camping, walking his dog - Todd loves being outside. His strategy for motivating kids to live a more healthy lifestyle is participating with them and sharing his own experiences as an athlete. No wonder his students think he is the best PE teacher ever!

Thank you for all your hard work over the years and efforts for your students, Todd.
