We appreciate our Elementary Challenge coordinators across the state who are doing innovative and inspiring work to keep Alaska youth active.

Today, join us in congratulating longtime coordinator, Todd Boonstra, on his retirement. He has partnered in HF programming for 19 years, starting in Galena and rounding out his career at Kaleidoscope School of Arts & Science in Kenai.

When he's not in the classroom you will find him enjoying the great outdoors with his family. Whether it's skiing, hiking, camping, walking his dog - Todd loves being outside. His strategy for motivating kids to live a more healthy lifestyle is participating with them and sharing his own experiences as an athlete. No wonder his students think he is the best PE teacher ever!

Thank you for all your hard work over the years and efforts for your students, Todd.
