Alpena has its own Plaza Pool aqua fitness classes. This description is perfect! Take a look at the schedule and join in.

Summer break is approaching in Alpena. We are launching our summer schedule with a Dive in movie featuring Lilo & Stitch at Alpena Plaza Pool. Bring your float and bring a friend!

The schedule for June 8-14 is as follows: This is the final week of school, and we are one week away from our summer schedule!

Group lessons will start this week, and online registration is available at https://www.alpenacounty.org/646/Swim-Lessons.

We will host our first themed open swim this week on Friday from 1-3pm, featuring Lilo & Stitch on our big screen. Please bring a float or use one of ours. Additional details will be shared this week.

On Saturday, open swim will be from 12:30-2:30pm, featuring our Wibit AquaTrack, and on Sunday, open swim will be from 1-3pm, featuring our Wibit KidsRun.

Do you wish to reserve our pool for a party or merely to utilize our facilities? We provide several options, including Open Swim rental, Private, Private Wibit AquaTrack, and Private Wibit KidsRun. We’re grateful to be part of this community and grateful for every single person and business who supports our local fundraisers. 🫶

Thank you for helping us and for supporting the Alpena County Plaza Pool. Without the community helping, our pool would not be open. Swimming lessons, senior fitness, safety lessons, rehabilitation and strengthening before and after surgery, adult volleyball, private birthday parties, lap swimming, and more in a controlled environment — no matter the weather outside. Can you believe it’s just plain fun?!

GUESS WHAT?!
We are still collecting bottles and cans! Friends of Plaza Pool is very appreciative of every single one that is placed in our bins located at ServiceMaster on Grant Street in Alpena. Bring a little or bring a lot!! This fundraiser supports the repairs of the Alpena Plaza Pool to keep it open and operating.
