📸 VOLUNTEER PHOTOGRAPHER WANTED – ALBUQUERQUE, NM 📸

Ripple 2 Wave Foundation is looking for a passionate volunteer photographer to help us capture the stories, smiles, and moments that define our impact throughout the Albuquerque community.

We're only asking for **1–2 hours per week**, but the difference you can help make is tremendous.

As a nonprofit, powerful visuals are essential. Photographs help us tell the stories behind the work, highlight the impact our volunteers are making, recruit new supporters, engage donors, and showcase the people and communities we serve. A single image can inspire action, spark hope, and encourage others to get involved.

Huge Thank You to The Aye Ward Show for donating 5 CASES of water to Ripple 2 Wave Foundation, Bluprint Music Group, 4Ever450, and B.L.U Tier Organization's Ripples of Relief Water Drive in Phoenix! Helping to keep the community hydrated during the extreme Phoenix summer heat.

As temperatures continue to rise, access to water becomes more than a convenience, it becomes a necessity. Phoenix averages over 100 days per year at or above 100°F, making it one of the hottest major cities in the United States, where extreme heat regularly places vulnerable populations at increased risk.

Throughout June and July, we will be collecting bottled water that will be distributed directly to those in need!

Extreme heat in Arizona is not just uncomfortable, it is deadly.

Ripple 2 Wave Foundation is continuing our Heat Relief Drive to support individuals experiencing homelessness during the brutal summer months across the Valley.

In Maricopa County alone, hundreds of heat related deaths occur each year, with many involving individuals experiencing homelessness. In 2025, the county reported 427 heat related deaths, and nearly half involved people experiencing homelessness.

For those living outdoors, access to water, shade, hygiene supplies, and cooling items can mean the difference between life and death.

We are currently collecting:
• Bottled Water
• Electrolyte Drinks
• Cooling Towels
• Sunscreen
• Hats & Sunglasses
• New Socks
• Hygiene Items
• Lip Balm
• Non Perishable Snacks
• First Aid Supplies

Every donated item helps provide relief, dignity, hope, and human connection to someone fighting to survive Arizona’s extreme heat.

☀️ Summer Safety Drive: Albuquerque Heat Relief ☀️

This June, Ripple 2 Wave Foundation is continuing our Summer Safety Drive to support individuals experiencing homelessness during the intense summer months in !

Albuquerque summers bring long days of high temperatures, making it especially challenging for those without reliable access to shelter, water, and basic necessities. That’s why this drive matters.

Throughout the month of June, we are collecting heat relief items to help protect and support those facing the summer conditions, including:
• Bottled water
• Electrolyte drinks
• Sunscreen
• Hats and sunglasses
• Cooling towels
• Hygiene kits
• Socks
• Non-perishable snacks

All collected items will be distributed during our bi-weekly wellness kit distributions, helping prepare those in need for the summer temperatures and reducing the risk of heat-related illness.
