Allied Sciences adjunct faculty member Amanda R. Grocott, M.B.A., R.T.(R)(CT), of Kindred, North Dakota, was elected as treasure for the ASRT Board of Directors during the 2026-2027 term. She was officially installed during the ASRT Annual Governance and House of Delegates Meeting in June in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
This is Grocott’s second term on the Board. She previously served as secretary during the 2025-2026 term. She has held roles on the North Dakota Society of Radiologic Technologists Board of Directors as chair, president and delegate.
Grocott is the School of Radiography program director at Sanford Medical Center in Fargo, North Dakota. She has been a registered radiographer and computed tomography technologist for 16 years.
Amanda encourages students to become well-rounded professionals early in their program. To that end, the students become involved in the American Society of Radiologic Technologists (ASRT) which is dedicated to enhancing patient care and safety through education, research and advocacy. Amanda's active involvement in the society provides the students an opportunity to witness the behavior in action, impacting their lifelong love of learning even before their careers officially begin.
