The National Human Services Data Consortium (NHSDC) is announcing an important leadership transition for its Board of Directors.

Kim Keaton and David Lewis are stepping down from their second terms as NHSDC's Board President and Vice President, in accordance with NHSDC's by-laws. Kim and David led the Board with dedication for the past six years, through the pandemic and changing administration priorities. We are grateful for the years of service they gave to NHSDC. Kim and David will graciously continue in their roles as Board Members.

Emma Beers-Baxter has been elected Board President. Emma joined the NHSDC Board of Directors in 2022 and brings over a decade of experience in homelessness and housing instability, with a focus on using data to drive improvement. She also serves as Homelessness Program Lead at the Eviction Lab at Princeton University and Founder and Principal Consultant at Civic Impact Consulting.

Martha Macias has been elected Vice President. Martha also joined the NHSDC Board of Directors in 2022 and serves as Deputy Chief Program Officer of Housing Programs at LA Family Housing. She is a homeless services expert with over 15 years of experience in homelessness and housing policies that addresses the needs of all three homeless populations: singles, families, and transitional aged youth. She is experienced in program development, policy implementation and program management, all with a data focused lens.

More on Emma and Martha's backgrounds is available at https://www.nhsdc.org/

Please join us in thanking Kim and David for their service, and in congratulating Emma and Martha on their new roles.
