THE RULES
1. One character cannot refer to anyone by their actual name
2. There must be an elaborate handshake
3. One character’s lines must always rhyme with the previous line
4. Something doesn’t fit
5. A line must be repeated exactly 3 times throughout the play
6. The play must include lyrics from a song
7. One character must be an inanimate object

Founded in 2007, Blackout is one of New Mexico’s oldest theatre ensembles, creating original sketch comedy, improv, new plays and musicals, multimedia productions, immersive storytelling, public art installations, and more. The CNM Theatre department is a great first step to getting a degree in theatre. WE offer classes in acting and design classes at local performance centers, offering you an actual theatre atmosphere for your work. ABOUT ST PIUS X DRAMA

The Saint Pius Drama Club has been creating incredible theatre for decades at Saint Pius X School. Recent shows include Puffs, Clue, The Crucible, The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Nighttime, and most recently, Peter Pan. In addition to their main stage shows. SPX Drama Students work extensively behind the scenes to support our Middle School program and the many tech needs of a large theatre on campus.

ABOUT THE DOODLES

The Doodles is an all-female sketch comedy group homegrown in Albuquerque, NM. Tackling topics from the absurd to the relatable with sketches that include mythical creatures, mental health, and the female experience, all told through mixed media, song, and dance. Our group first debuted at the Albuquerque Funny Fiesta in 2023 and currently features founding members Chelcie Sword, Jill Lindsay, Leslie Nesbit, and Jeanette Cerami who all met through improv, but have a cumulative background in filmmaking, stand up, sketch, burlesque, acting, singing, and screenwriting. You never know what the Doodles will do next!
