As Somos takes shape, Sol Housing invites local artists to share mural ideas that honor this new community — its people, its resilience, and its future.

This large-scale mural will be one of the area’s most visible public artworks. Daily, it’ll be seen by residents, commuters, fairgoers, and Route 66 travelers — all with the Sandia Mountains as the backdrop. 🤩

Our Community Report is now available for all to enjoy! This report highlights our work over the last two years - from community engagement to awards and recognition, from resident stories and enrichment services, we sure did pack a lot into that time! As Somos continue to take shape, Sol Housing is looking for local artists to submit their mural ideas celebrating this new community as well as the neighborhood's people, resilience, and future.

This large-scale mural will be one of the most visible pieces of public art in the area, seen daily by residents, commuters, fairground visitors, and travelers on Route 66, framed by the stunning backdrop of the Sandia Mountains.

It's our birthday!!! Sol Housing (formerly known as the Greater Albuquerque Housing Partnership) turns 33 today!

For the past three decades, we have proudly, consistently, created beautiful, stable, comfortable environments where residents don't just thrive, but flourish. We can't wait to see what the future holds for affordable housing and Albuquerque!
