We’re thrilled to celebrate our very own Karen Perez, who has been selected as a member of the Hispanics in Philanthropy Líderes Fellowship cohort!

Karen leads Hacia: Toward the University, our two-generation family engagement program that inspires and supports entire families as they navigate the path from Pre-K to higher education.

Congratulations, Karen! We’re so proud to see you recognized with this prestigious opportunity.

Southwest Creations Collaborative board member Karen Converse is featured in this year's Albuquerque Public Schools "Passing the Torch" Wall Calendar. Thank you Karen for inspiring the next generation of ROTC students and balloonists. And for inspiring all of us at SCC every day!

Every community is asking similar questions: How do we create better jobs? Strengthen our workforce? Build partnerships that last?

Southwest Creations Collaborative is excited to be part of those conversations at SHIFT Conference 2026. We'll be presenting with the Partnership for Community Action from our Social Enterprise Center on "Where Community Meets Opportunity."

Whether you're a workforce practitioner, employer, funder, educator, or policymaker, we hope you'll join us.

If you're heading to Albuquerque, we'd love to see you at our session.

This Giving Tuesday, we stand alongside local families to create educational pathways, provide affordable childcare, and preserve stable, well-paying jobs. Since 1994, more than 250 women have earned living wages at SCC, and Hacia: Toward the University has helped thousands of students move toward college with confidence. Your gift on Giving Tuesday helps keep this support strong for the families who rely on us.
