Join us on August 21st from 4pm to 6pm on Zoom for a virtual workshop on Farmer Pricing! Have you ever been unsure of what price to sell your produce so you just sold it at the same price as the person next to you at the farmers market? How did you know if you're making a profit? Did you pay yourself for your own labor? Learn how to make sure all your operational costs are covered, you've paid yourself, and that you make a good profit by setting the right price for your produce! We were back out in Zuni Pueblo today learning all about traditional sheep shearing from Shannon Concho and his family. The sheep seemed pretty happy with their fresh haircuts, too! Stay tuned for a more in-depth look at what we learned!

It's cold and rainy in Albuquerque today and we've got this beautiful day in Zuni, New Mexico on our minds! We visited a sheepcamp where Zuni farmer Shannon Concho will be implementing cover cropping and rotational grazing with the sheep.

We learned a lot from our visit, mostly about the dedication and skill it takes to be the steward of a flock of 30+ sheep. This was a hard year for the flock, but we're excited to see what the future holds for them, their guardians, and the land they'll be rehabilitating!

Last week we visited Zuni Pueblo and the amazing farmers there to conduct soil testing!
We conduct Haney Soil Tests, which tell you not only the nutrients that are available in the soil, but tell you the health of the microbiology in the soil as well. This makes it valuable for learning about the overall health and fertility of your soil so you know what strategies will work best to help you regenerate your land!
