❤️💜 3RD ANNUAL STOP THE VIOLENCE • BREAK THE SILENCE ❤️💜
Together, We Can Break This Cycle by Speaking Up & Standing Together.
This cause is deeply personal to me.
For much of my life, I experienced things that no one should ever have to experience. I know what it feels like to be caught in a cycle of abuse. I know how difficult it can be to find the strength to walk away, and I know the fear, pain, confusion and emotions that can come with it.
But I was blessed to find the strength to leave.
And today, I use my voice because someone else may still be searching for theirs.
This event is about so much more than bringing people together. It is about remembering those we have lost, standing beside those who are currently going through it, supporting survivors, educating our community, and showing people that there IS a way out.
🕯️ WE REMEMBER THOSE WE LOST.
For every life taken because of domestic violence, we will say their names, honor their stories and remember the lives they lived.
🕯️ BRING THEIR PICTURE.
🕯️ LIGHT A CANDLE.
🕯️ SAY THEIR NAME.
🕯️ HONOR THEIR LIFE.
We Will be honoring the Lives Ernestine, Talia Wills and More...

We will have a Memorial Wall where families and loved ones can bring photographs of those they have lost to domestic violence.
And for those who are currently living through abuse—I want you to know that you are not alone. Your story matters. Your life matters. There are people and organizations willing to help. There is a way out.
You don't have to be ashamed.
You don't have to suffer in silence.
You don't have to face it alone.
Sometimes breaking the cycle starts with one person finding the courage to speak.
I know because I've been there. And I'm still here to be a voice for those that can't ❤️
This year, we are bringing our community together through music, powerful voices, education, resources, remembrance and hope.
