Last month at our All-Staff Kickoff, that's what our KIPP Five Value Awards celebrated. We're proud to have awarded 13 exceptional staff across all our schools who define what it means when we say Expect Greatness, Bring Joy, Do the Right Thing, Lead Together, and Fully Commit. KIPP Capital Region celebrates Latinx Heritage Month!

Created as a one-week celebration in 1968, we now recognize Latinx Heritage from September 15th to October 15th after it was expanded in 1988.

We proudly recognize and celebrate the cultures, stories, and contributions shaped by Latinx heroes and icons like Celia Cruz, Sonia Sotomayor, and Jose Barbosa - as well as Latinx students, families, and educators in our community.

Each and every day, we honor history and shape the future by learning from and celebrating one another.
