We love a parade! 5,000 marchers in the parade, y'all. 5,000. That made this year's parade the biggest, best and most full of love and support we've ever seen. If you marched, thank you for being part of it. If you were on the sidelines cheering us on, we love you, and thank you for being there. For seeing us. And for being a part of this MASSIVE celebration.

You asked for it, you got it! Our photos from Capital Pride 2026 Festival are now available! We'll be highlighting different aspects of the event over the next few days; today, we are spotlighting just a few of the faces of pride and joy from the crowd and attendees - because you are what made this real, and YOU are the reason for the season.

We LOVED the show, and it was AMAZING, but we do it all for you, and the love was palpable, y'all!

A huge heartfelt thanks to ALL of our sponsors who helped us make our largest PrideFest and parade ever such a rousing success. Simply being with us, marching with us, volunteering, or manning tables at our information area said everything about how much you care for our community and its members.

Your generous donations literally made this day possible, and we could not have done it without you. From Hannaford and Regeneron and everyone in between, whether your gift was the smallest or the largest, you helped us to reach over thirty thousand people and show them the love, visibility and respect they deserve. In a time when it seems the world is working overtime to try to deny the very existence of far too members of our community, your presence and support shout loud and clear that we are here, that you see us, and we will not disappear on your watch, not here in the Capital Region or beyond.

We are so excited to announce that we are working hard to make Pride more accessible, and this year, for the first time, we will have a dedicated handicap parking area WITH SHUTTLE SERVICE to the festival area this year!

Parking is available at the Thurlow Terrace lot (corner of Thurlow and Western near the beginning of the parade). It is first come, first served, and you must have a handicap card to utilize the lot. PLUS - there is continuous shuttle service from the lot to the festival area and back again!

We know parking has always been a nightmare in the past for folks who need access, and we are working hard to provide better service and access to those who need it.
