Brooklyn showed up in Albany!!!

From the food to the music to the energy in the room, Brooklyn Night was a true celebration of culture, community, and everything that makes the borough so special.

Grateful to have our Executive Director, Charlene Gayle, in attendance to celebrate and connect with Assemblymembers Cunningham, Lucas, Jackson, and Chandler-Waterman. Nights like this remind us how deeply our communities are linked—no matter the miles between us.

Huge congratulations to the Chair of the New York State Black, Puerto Rican, Hispanic and Asian Legislative Caucus on being honored at the Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc., Eta Theta Lambda Chapter (Long Island Alphas) 41st Annual Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Awards Luncheon.

An honor well deserved and a powerful reminder that leadership rooted in service, legacy, and community continues to move our state forward.

Scenes from registration and the energy is already unmatched.

If you know Mr. Derrick Davis, President and CEO of Bellweather Consulting Strategies then you know he is not just part of the weekend… he helps shape it. The planning, the coordination, the behind-the-scenes problem solving, the steady presence when the pace picks up. Weekends like this don’t just “come together.” They are built. Intentionally. Thoughtfully. Strategically.

Registration is where it all begins. The reunions. The first hugs. The badge pick-ups. The “what event are you going to?” conversations. It’s the launch point for a weekend filled with legacy, leadership, and real conversations about where we’re headed next.
