The KKK's legacy of racial violence and hierarchy is alive and well in the RepubliKKKan Party.
They supported the kidnapping and murder of Minnesotans in Operation Metro Surge.
They continue to support ICE's violent campaign of ethnic cleansing that kidnaps, murders and incarcerates disproportionately black and brown people in brutal and inhumane detention centers.
They support the ongoing ecocide and destruction of our planet's climate and biosphere.
They consistently demonize and engage in racist attacks on our Somali neighbors.
They sold out the Boundary Waters wilderness to mining interests
They are pe*****le protectors supporting the protection of the Epstein class of child traffickers.

We are Minnesota. We protect our neighbors. No peace for ecocidal fascist scum.

Each of the people we disrupted this Climate Week runs on the assumption that the rooms they walk into are safe. They walk into their panels, their galas, their cocktail hours, thinking the worst thing that can happen to them is a limp canapé. So we made sure that the worst thing that happened to them was us.

Because we're not interested in compromise with climate criminals. We're not interested in the "fireside chat". We're only interested in ending the era of fossil fuels and making space for a world built on human dignity and a livable future.

And we're committed to keep showing TF up for anyone standing in the way of that.

Well because he approves pipelines. Because he's funded by AIPAC. Because in the Bronx, where .quatt is from, people can't afford to buy inhalers. Because his own daughter lobbies state governments on behalf of OpenAI. Because New Yorkers haven't heard from him in four long months. And because while our planet face existential collapse, he's busy smirking at galas sponsored by Amazon.

In this terrifying moment of climate breakdown and fascist takeover, we deserve real leaders, not spineless shills.

It's well and truly time to chuck Chuck.

We went to a pro-data center party. Yes, that's a real thing. It was called "Data After Dark", was held at a crypto bar in DC (🤮), had a tray of Zyns for the guests, as well as an AI photo booth that put you in business casual inside a data center. Living the dream.

The whole embarrassing sh*tshow was thrown by a twenty-something "tech journalist" propped up by Young Voices, a talent agency for young conservatives funded by the Koch Institute and the Atlas Network — and co-presented by Pirate Wires, which is run by the marketing chief of Peter Thiel's Founders Fund (double 🤮).

In other words: 70% of Americans don't want a data center near them, but the billionaires need them, so they rented a bar and handed out ni****ne. Groundbreaking.

Speakers toasted "more data centers" and told the room AI would save more lives than any other human invention. Another explained that if America doesn't build data centers, then China will, and that we needed to be like the good guy with a gun. No, this was not satire.

So we made our own speech. And we won't stop making them. Because they've got the billionaires — but we've got everyone else.

CALL TO ACTION: We have the power to evict Crye Precision — a military contractor that supplies gear for the IOF and ICE — from tax-subsidized public land in New York City.

The Brooklyn Navy Yard, has multiple leases with Crye that violates New York’s sanctuary city laws.
We have the ability to do something about it through public pressure.

Email the Brooklyn Navy Yard's President and CEO, Lindsay Greene ([email protected]) and those responsible, and demand that the companies complicit in the genocide in Gaza and the kidnappings of our immigrant neighbors be expelled from our city.

We owe it to ourselves and the world to keep pressure on the Brooklyn Navy yard. We know that Lindsay Greene has the power to kick out Crye. When we come together we can deliver wins for communities both local and international.

David Rubenstein is a poorly disguised wolf in sheep's clothing. A man who has done so much to destroy the world through his investments in fossil fuel projects and weapons manufacturers has decided to spend his latter years interviewing baseball celebrities like Cal Ripken.

If private equity was a video game filled with Patagonia vest-wearing bros buying your hospital and firing the nurses, David Rubenstein would be the final boss. This titan of industry co-founded the Carlyle Group, which holds approximately $24 BILLION in fossil fuels and has one of the biggest dirty-energy portfolios in all of private equity. In fact, for every $1 Carlyle put into renewables, it also put $16 into oil and gas. Plus, before Rubenstein and Carlyle made billions from oil, they were making billions buying up defense contractors and cashing out on a war that killed hundreds of thousands of Iraqis.

And of course Rubenstein likes to launder all of the above "accomplishments" with his philanthropy. You will find this overachiever's name on the boards of Harvard, the Kennedy Center, the Smithsonian, and many more, all while his firm keeps fracking, drilling, building pipelines, and destroying our future.

Well, we are here to rip his Mr. Rogers mask off and expose him for the arch villain that he is. This is the power of direct action: to shine sunlight in dark places. To expose the hypocrisy. David Rubenstein is a criminal of the highest order, and, on this rare night, he was treated as such.
