🌳🌿 Join us for a morning of native gardening and community! 🌿🌳

We’re growing something special in our Native Demonstration Garden and need your help! On Saturday, June 27th, we’ll be planting a bush and low growing tree line to create a natural privacy and sound barrier for the playground—all while supporting local wildlife and pollinators. 🐝🦋

Whether you’re an experienced gardener or just want to lend a hand, we’d love to see you there. We welcome more wheelbarrows, shovels, and/or pitchforks. Help us make a lasting impact on this beautiful community space.

After the planting party, stick around for refreshments, our June Membership Social with the congregation, and a brief meeting. It’s a great opportunity to connect with fellow native plant enthusiasts and celebrate what we’re growing together! 🌱💚

☕ Membership Social & Meeting: 10:30–11:30 AM

🌼 Community, fresh air, and a little dirt under your fingernails—the perfect way to spend a Monday evening! Join us as we spruce up our native demonstration garden with new native plantings, refreshed pathways, and a whole lot of teamwork. No experience needed—just a willingness to lend a hand and learn something new.

Jobs include shoveling wood chips, transporting wheelbarrows of mulch, adjusting brick edging, and helping lay bricks along the garden borders. Many hands make the work light! Every contribution helps make our garden more beautiful and welcoming. 🌻✨

Together, we’ll create a thriving space that supports local wildlife, pollinators, and our community. 🌿🐝 Feel free to bring work gloves, shovels, trowels, and kneeling pads. Curious about native gardening? We’ll show you how to plant native plants and what to look for when choosing the best location for them, making this a great opportunity to learn while you volunteer.

Another native plant sale in the books!! 🌿✨

Today’s sale at Thacher State Park was an incredible success. By 9 a.m., the line had already formed — and the parking lot had turned into a full-on tailgate…for native plants! 🌱💚 We absolutely loved seeing everyone arrive early and share so much enthusiasm for native plants and ecological restoration.

We’re beyond grateful to everyone who came out to support native planting and restoration efforts in our community. A huge thank you to our hardworking volunteers, the dedicated staff at Thacher, and Friends of Thacher State Park for helping make this event possible.

Your support, energy, and passion for native plants continue to inspire us. Until the next sale! 🌼🐝🦋

If you post pics/vids of the plant sale to social media, please be sure to tag and use hashtag .
