New Yorkers for Healthy Heat was created to support efforts to address the climate emergency while raising awareness of the monumental health and economic downsides of on-site fossil-fuel combustion in New York's buildings, which leads to about 2000 deaths, countless illnesses and disabilities, and about $22 billion dollars in healthcare costs each year. This is completely preventable because all-

electric buildings are economical to build and operate and offer a vastly superior quality of life to their occupants. However, fossil-fuel and other status-quo interests are using tons of dirty money to mislead New York's citizens and legislators into continuing New York's reliance on costly out-of-state fuels like fracked gas, propane, and heating oil.
