This competitive, year-long leadership program gives Jewish teens the skills, confidence, and network to stand up to antisemitism, advocate for Israel, and lead meaningful change in their schools and communities.

As we welcome 5787, we look back with gratitude on an inspiring season of engagement for AJC Westchester/Fairfield.

August and September were filled with meaningful conversations, impactful gatherings, and opportunities for action. From engaging with members of Congress in Connecticut and New York, mayors, state officials, UN ambassadors, and other diplomatic leaders to gathering for our New Board Dinner, LFT Facilitators Retreat in Washington, DC, and so much more, these past 2 months have been a powerful reflection of the momentum behind our work.

We look forward to new beginnings, renewed relationships, and continued opportunities to build a stronger, more connected community.

On September 11, 2001, Al Qaeda terrorists carried out coordinated attacks against the United States, killing nearly 3,000 people. Amid the unprecedented tragedy, Americans witnessed extraordinary courage as first responders, recovery workers, medical professionals, and ordinary citizens stepped forward in service to others.

Twenty-five years later, we honor the memory of those who were lost and the heroes who answered the call. And we recommit ourselves to building a safer, more peaceful world and confronting the forces of extremism, hatred, and terror that continue to threaten free and democratic societies.

Today, we remember. We honor. We will never forget.

Thank you to Cait Conley for meeting with representatives from AJC to discuss key issues impacting our communities. We appreciated the opportunity to share AJC resources on combating antisemitism, discuss the importance of the U.S.-Israel relationship, and explore ways to strengthen partnerships across diverse communities.

Meaningful conversations like these help foster understanding, respectful civic engagement, and collaboration in addressing the challenges facing our district and nation.

We joined AJC New York and AJC Westchester/Fairfield for a meeting with Nassau County Executive/Republican Gubernatorial candidate Bruce Blakeman this morning. We had a productive conversation about issues impacting the Jewish community in New York State, including supporting the State of Israel and combating antisemitism.
