Alice Moore Black Arts and Cultural Center The Alice Moore Black Arts and Cultural Center (AMBACC) is a non-profit community-based organization located in Albany, New York’s South End Neighborhood.

The Alice Moore Black Arts Cultural Center was founded by the late, Dr. Alice P. Green. Dr. Green started the Center to be a hub and a safe place for our community.

Real fathers. Real love. Real superheroes. 🦸🏾‍♂️✨

This Father’s Day, AMBACC had the honor of celebrating the men who show up, stand tall, love deeply, and lead with purpose.

Our Superhero-Themed Father’s Day Brunch was filled with food, fellowship, laughter, introductions, and powerful moments of connection. Fathers and children came together through activities designed to help them learn more about one another, strengthen their bond, and celebrate the everyday love that builds families and communities.

Because Black fatherhood is powerful.
Black fatherhood is present.
Black fatherhood is protection, patience, joy, sacrifice, guidance, and legacy.

To every father who attended: thank you for showing up.
To every father who shows up every single day: we see you, we honor you, and we celebrate you.

Each father left with a gift bag, but the real gift was witnessing our community pour love back into the men who pour so much into their children.

At AMBACC, we believe our fathers deserve more than one day of recognition. They deserve flowers, support, respect, rest, and celebration all year long.

Here’s to the fathers, father figures, uncles, grandfathers, mentors, bonus dads, and everyday superheroes raising the next generation with love. 🖤

Bring the family out for the Juneteenth Street Celebration ❤️💚💛 A full day of culture, music, food, vendors, youth activities, live performances, community resources, and the African Heritage Parade.

AMBACC is looking for vendors for our Juneteenth Celebration happening Saturday, June 20, 2026 from 11 AM–6 PM on Rensselaer St. in Albany, NY!

We’re calling on food vendors, artists, makers, clothing brands, beauty businesses, community organizations, authors, wellness vendors, and entrepreneurs of all kinds to come be part of this powerful celebration of culture, freedom, community, and Black excellence. ❤️🖤💚
