Our Hope Early Care & Education Center brought some circus fun to our facility this past weekend!

Our toddler and preschool/pre-k areas along with the parents and grandparents participated in a scavenger hunt then an obstacle course and bean bag toss, had some fun carnival themed food & drink, and had the opportunity to get resources from many of our amazing partnerships which we want to thank for a fun filled circus at Hope!!

Yesterday our lifeguards participated in our annual Lifeguard Challenge!!!🛟

During this event our lifeguards are challenged with different scenarios, objectives, and challenges to test their teamwork, skills under pressure, and overall knowledge on the very important job they hold.

Our guards had a blast and excelled in our challenges. Thank you to all of the guards, aquatic directors, and volunteers for helping make yesterday amazing!

Last week our Firestone Park YMCA and Riverfront Family YMCA Summer Day Camps faced off in some Summer Olympics!!

With such activities as dodgeball, tug of war, and gaga ball, just to name a few, our campers had a great time competing and teaming with campers from another YMCA!

Today is Lifeguard Appreciation Day! 🇨🇭 🏊

We would like to extend our thanks to all of our lifeguards for keeping our pools safe for all of our families!!

Remember that pools can be very fun but also dangerous, our lifeguards strive everyday to make sure our YMCA pools are the safest and funnest around!!

Every child deserves a safe summer. 💙

On Drowning Prevention Day, we’re raising awareness about the importance of water safety, swim lessons, and active supervision around the water. Drowning can happen quickly and silently, but together we can help prevent it.

Whether you're at the pool, lake, or beach, remember: Anyone can drown. No one should.
