Reflecting back on one of my favorite events of the year… 💜✨
This year’s Empowering Queens Pearls for Girls brunch was rooted in intention, connection, and Generational Glory.

We laughed, cried, reflected, and created memories that will live far beyond one afternoon. Mothers and daughters took time to write heartfelt letters to each other that will be opened next year, reminding us that love, healing, and legacy continue to grow over time.

One of the most beautiful moments was our Pearl Exchange, where we symbolically passed down wisdom, strength, encouragement, and love from one generation to the next. A reminder that we don’t just pass down pain… we can pass down glory too. 🤍

From meaningful conversations and shared meals to keepsake photos, activities, and moments of vulnerability, every detail was created with purpose.

Thank you to every mother, daughter, grandmother, auntie, sister, mentor, and young queen who showed up with open hearts. This event continues to remind me why this work matters so much.

Here’s to healing generations, honoring our stories, and continuing to pour into each other… one pearl at a time. ✨

Today, we honor the mothers, grandmothers, bonus moms, grieving mothers, single mothers, mother figures, and every woman carrying the weight of love while still trying to pour into herself too.

At Empowering Queens, we see your strength, your softness, your resilience, and your sacrifices. We know motherhood is beautiful, exhausting, healing, triggering, rewarding, and transformational all at once.

May today remind you that you deserve care too. You deserve rest too. You deserve to feel seen, valued, supported, and loved beyond what you do for everyone else.

Thank you for continuing to show up, even on the hard days. The world is better because of the love you give.

Celena is an entrepreneur, community advocate, and leader dedicated to advancing opportunities for women and families. With a strong background in nonprofit leadership and community impact, she brings both vision and experience to Empowering Queens.

She joined Empowering Queens as a true “girl’s girl” at heart, deeply aligned with our mission to support women in vulnerable and often stigmatized spaces. Her passion for building programs that foster leadership, confidence, and economic independence makes her a powerful force in this work.

As our President, Celena is committed to helping guide the organization’s growth, strengthen our impact, and ensure we continue creating meaningful opportunities for women to thrive.
