Dear Allenside Neighbors:

We are still pulling together the Summer Festival on August 23rd from Noon to 3. If you have any suggestions or want to help with the event, please let us know.

We also have received some information from our Ward Representative Tina Boyes. There has been some new information in regards to the Baptist Temple/Word Church property. The Word Church has a buyer who would like to meet with the Community. They will present what their plans are for the property. There will be a chance for feedback on making the area safer and more pleasing, including the road.

We will hold the community meeting on July 29th at the usual time of 6PM. We will be serving a meal at 6PM and start the meeting at 6:30PM. We hope to see everyone there. Please pass along this information to friends and neighbors so we have a good showing and get the information to our neighbors.

Thank you,

Allenside Neighborhood Community

Our next Community Meeting will be on April 15, 2025.
We will enjoy a meal at 6pm and welcome our guest speaker this month, Don Ake.

Will There Be Free Appetizers?, Just Make Me A Sammich, and Turkey Terror at My Door!

Amazon's author info states: "Don Ake has a warped, yet engaging, sense of humor that can bring a smile to the most serious face. He has been making people laugh through his writing for nearly 40 years. His day job consists of being a transportation industry expert at an economic research firm and he has taught marketing and economics at the college level. His students greatly appreciate his sense of humor, his bosses not as much. He has an MBA from The University of Akron (OH) and is a distinguished member of the Canton Writer s Guild. He lives in Northeast Ohio with his wife and dog, very near to his hometown of Akron."

We look forward to hearing him speak and share his talent with the group!
