I'm James Dick, Marion Campus Pastor, and I have the privilege of continuing our EXILES series with you this Sunday. Have you ever started something with great enthusiasm, a new habit, a big goal, a fresh season, only to lose steam before it was finished?

As we wrap up this series, we're asking a question every follower of Jesus eventually has to face: not just how do I start strong, but how do I finish strong?

Did you know Peter says people will know we belong to Jesus, not by what we say, but by how we live and how we love? Above everything else, he tells us to love each other deeply, because love covers a multitude of sins.

I'd love for you to join us this Sunday for a message called “Finishing Well.” We'll dive into God's Word to see what it looks like to pray seriously, love deeply, and stay humble and faithful, no matter what season we're in.

Whatever you're walking through, you don't have to carry it alone. Cast your anxiety on Him, because He cares for you. He'll give you the strength you need and help you stand firm.

👑 The Chosen Early Access Premiere: Join us Sunday, September 27, for a special advance screening of Season 6, Episode 1 of The Chosen (rated TV-14) at every Highlands Fellowship campus. Be among the first to experience the beginning of this highly anticipated season as the story moves toward Jesus’ final days, the crucifixion, and ultimately, the Resurrection.

This free event will include popcorn, drinks, and more. Doors open at 6pm, and the pre-release showing begins at 6:30pm and runs a little more than one hour. Admission is free, but registration and tickets are required to guarantee seating. Bring your family and friends and experience The Chosen together before the new season is released to the public!

🌎 Global Missions Night is a special evening to celebrate how God is at work around the world. Join us Sunday, October 4, from 6:30–8pm at the Abingdon Campus for worship and inspiring stories from our 2026 mission trips and global ministry partners—and, of course, snacks!

Pastor Allen Jessee, Pastor Tim Brown, and others will share firsthand stories and highlights from this year’s work in Honduras, Tanzania, Belize, Pakistan, Ukraine, and beyond. Together, we’ll celebrate lives changed, communities served, and the ways God is working through Highlands and our partners across the globe.
