Pastor Tim: Have you ever walked away from a conversation wishing you had handled it differently?
Maybe you said too much. Maybe you didn’t say enough. Maybe a disagreement turned into conflict, a misunderstanding created tension, or someone got under your skin.
Relationships can be complicated. That’s why the importance of relating wisely to people matters so much. James reminds us that wisdom is more than knowledge. It’s something we live out every day.
In a world full of division, outrage, and constant arguments, God’s wisdom offers a different way. James tells us that true wisdom from above is pure, peace-loving, considerate, full of mercy, and sincere. It helps us navigate relationships, handle conflict, extend mercy, stay teachable, and live with integrity.
As we continue The Book of James, I’d love for you to join me tomorrow (Sunday) for a message called “Relating Wisely to People: True Wisdom From Above.” Together, we’ll discover how God’s wisdom can transform the way we relate to people every day, helping us reflect the character of Jesus in our relationships.
Invite a friend. Bring your family. Come expecting God to move.
