Norton VA - In a humble yet historic moment, Little Caesarā€™s of Norton quietly sold its 1 millionth pizza this week, marking decades of cardboard-thin crusts and endless $5 Hot-N-Ready glory.

Management declined any sort of celebration, saying they didnā€™t want to make a ā€œbig dealā€ out of it. ā€œNo balloons, no plaques,ā€ said store manager Donnie Ray. ā€œWeā€™re just here to serve the high-quality, delicious pizza our customers have tolerated since day one.ā€

The millionth pieā€”an extra pepperoni, light on sauce, heavy on box greaseā€”was handed to an unsuspecting customer named Steve, who reportedly said, ā€œNeat,ā€ and then drove away.

Employees celebrated quietly in the back with flat soda and slightly warm Crazy Bread.

ā€œWeā€™re not in it for the fame,ā€ said Donnie Ray. ā€œWeā€™re in it for the cheese. And the cheese-like substances.ā€

Pound, VA - Local couple Harvey and Melinda Jennings marked their one-year wedding anniversary yesterday with matching tattoos, a dinner at applebees, and a mutual agreement that Melinda is, in fact, the boss.

ā€œIā€™ve never been happier,ā€ Harvey, 44, said, grinning while holding Melindaā€™s purse. ā€œThe secret to a great marriage is simple: do what youā€™re told, smile, and never ask questions!ā€

Melinda, 31, confirmed this dynamic. ā€œHeā€™s adorable. He cooks, he cleans, he agrees with everything I say. Honestly, itā€™s like having a husband and a well-trained golden retriever in one.ā€

Harvey added, ā€œI used to have opinions, but now I just enjoy not sleeping on the couch.ā€
