Last April 12, 2026 , the University of Santo Tomas Red Cross Youth Council - Central Unit, together with UST RCYC - CFAD Unit and UST RCYC - AB Unit, launched "CHEWS WISELY: The Smart Eating Program" to promote mindful and healthy eating habits among children. ๐ŸŽ๐Ÿฅฆ

Through engaging discussions and fun activities, young learners were guided on making smarter food choices and understanding the importance of balanced nutrition. ๐Ÿฅ—๐Ÿ’ก

With every lesson shared, we take one step closer to building healthier communities, one chew at a time.

The UST Red Cross Youth Council - Arts and Letters Unit held its HIV Awareness Seminar, โ€œBreaking the Stigma: Navigating Facts and Awareness on HIV,โ€ last March 25, 2026, at the Audio-Visual Room, Tan Yan Kee Building. This seminar aimed to create a safe space to gain knowledge and raise awareness around HIV and navigate the facts, dismantling myths, and reducing the stigma.

With all the meaningful discussions, engagements, and shared insights throughout the event, the RCYC-AB would like to express our gratitude to the wonderful speakers, ๐ƒ๐ซ. ๐๐จ๐ž๐ฅ ๐‘๐ฎ๐ฌ๐ฌ๐ž๐ฅ ๐–๐š๐ ๐š๐ง, ๐Œ๐ƒ and ๐Œ๐ฌ. ๐€๐ซ๐ž๐ฆ๐ฆ ๐‚๐š๐ฌ๐ญ๐ซ๐ข๐ฅ๐ฅ๐จ for imparting their knowledge, raising HIV awareness among participants, and advocating for a safe and inclusive space.โค๏ธ We would also like to extend our gratitude to our dedicated project heads and to everyone who has attended the event. Join us in Earth Hour UST 2026, organized by the ALERTOMAS Cluster (Faculty of Arts and Letters, UST NSTP CWTS LTS, Graduate School, College of Architecture, Faculty of Engineering, and College of Science) of UST SIMBAHAYAN Community Development Office, in collaboration with EARTH UST, Artlets Economic Society, UST Chorus of Arts and Letters, BA DAUNCEN, UST Literary Society, Red Cross Youth Council - AB, and 3rd Year Economics Students.

(HASH). With their extensive knowledge and professional experience related to sexual health and promoting inclusivity program to contribute to building a safe space for everyone, it will aid in equipping our Artlet volunteers with the facts and raising awareness on HIV in the Philippines.
