It does not only serve as the training ground for aspiring Thomasian filmmakers to discover and hone their skills and unleash their untapped ability in cinematic production, but it also produces exemplary members of the Church and of the community. Filmily Batch 2026, Thank you for sharing your dedication with the Thomasian Film Society. Your work has left an imprint far beyond the projects you’ve created, it lives on in the people you’ve inspired and the community you’ve helped shape.

Though your time with us reaches its final scene, your journey as storytellers is only beginning. May every set you step onto, every story you tell, and every dream you pursue remind you that you’ll always have a Filmily cheering you on.

The Thomasian Film Society extends its deepest gratitude to the Executive Board of Year 12 for their unwavering dedication and leadership in serving the Filmily.

Throughout the year, they transformed ideas into realities, championed meaningful stories, and cultivated opportunities for Thomasian filmmakers to create, collaborate, and grow. Behind every production, initiative, and milestone was a team that led with purpose and a commitment to moving the organization forward.

Today, we celebrate not only the work they have accomplished but also the legacy they leave behind,one that will continue to inspire the generations of storytellers who follow.

As they gathered for the Baccalaureate Mass and made their final walk through the Arch of the Centuries, our graduating Filmily celebrated not only the end of their Thomasian journey, but the growth that came with it.

Wherever the next scene takes them, we know they will carry the passion, resilience, and stories they cultivated with them.

𝗥𝗢𝗟𝗟 𝗖𝗥𝗘𝗗𝗜𝗧𝗦 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 🎬✨

The Thomasian Film Society officially closed another remarkable chapter through Roll Credits 2026, the year-end special dedicated to celebrating the achievements, milestones, and people who made Year 12 one to remember.

The evening honored outstanding productions and individuals whose passion and dedication elevated the organization throughout the year. Among the night’s biggest winners were Sticky Notes, earning five awards including Best Microshort, and Incarnation, which also took home five awards, including Best Sequence One.

This year also marked the introduction of the Filmily Choice Awards, recognizing Sine Tomasino 2026 and Filmicast Season 2 as the organization’s Projects of the Year. The celebration likewise highlighted recipients of the TFS Loyalty Awards, recognizing members who have dedicated three and four years of service to the Filmily.

Roll Credits 2026 also served as a moment of transition, honoring the outgoing Executive Board and culminating in the Farewell Address of Outgoing President Rainiel Allen Loreto. The evening concluded with the announcement of the newly elected Executive Board for Year 13, alongside a message from Incoming President Mac Jay Pacursa and Sofia Nicole Castañares as the Project Heads of the event.

We extend our sincere gratitude to Sir Kurt Loreto, Ms. Samantha Latina, and Sir Francis Quilantang for lending their time, expertise, and thoughtful deliberation in recognizing this year’s awardees.

Cinema becomes most powerful when it inspires conversations beyond the screen.

For the final project of the year, Alagad ng Sine 2026: Marilou Diaz-Abaya participants from the community of the Religious of Mary Immaculate Manila and the Ministry of Urban Poor – Diocese of Caloocan, gathered for a screening of Bagong Buwan followed by a meaningful talkback session.

Through the film, attendees reflected on themes of conflict, discrimination, cultural misunderstanding, and peace-building—issues that remain relevant in society today. The discussions encouraged participants to share their own perspectives, deepen their understanding of marginalized communities, and recognize the importance of empathy, solidarity, and social responsibility.

More than a screening, the project served as a space for learning, reflection, and dialogue, highlighting the enduring power of Filipino cinema to educate and foster social awareness.

Through its heartfelt storytelling and relatable emotional dilemmas, the film asks a question many have wondered but few can answer with certainty: what happens when a love story ends, but the connection remains?

For one unforgettable week, Sine Tomasino 2026 became more than a film festival, it became a shared effort built by passionate individuals who believed in the power of stories and the community behind them.

To our organizers, partner institutions, production teams, volunteers, filmmakers, speakers, media partners, audiences, and everyone who worked behind the scenes, thank you for becoming part of this year’s journey. Your time, energy, and commitment made this long-awaited recalibration possible. Every moment of celebration was made meaningful because of the people who chose to show up for student cinema.

This festival’s return after seven years would not have carried the same impact without the community that stood behind it every step of the way.

From all of us at the Thomasian Film Society, thank you for being part of the growing Filmily. Until the next frame, see you again next year. 😉💛
