What if the hardest thing to remember is who you used to be?

A disoriented patient awakens in a silent hospital corridor and journeys through fragments of memory, confronting the selves she left behind as she slowly finds her way back to herself.

Knowing that even if time passes through, you still have remnants of your past clinging to you.

Friends Pero Mag-Ex…?

Open Endings (2026) explores the blurred lines between love, loss, and the relationships we choose to hold on to even after the final goodbye. Through its heartfelt storytelling and relatable emotional dilemmas, the film asks a question many have wondered but few can answer with certainty: what happens when a love story ends, but the connection remains?

The Thomasian Film Society presents our comprehensive review and verdict of Open Endings (2026), written by Chaze Salazar and Johan Zaske Billones, now showing in cinemas nationwide.

For one unforgettable week, Sine Tomasino 2026 became more than a film festival, it became a shared effort built by passionate individuals who believed in the power of stories and the community behind them.

To our organizers, partner institutions, production teams, volunteers, filmmakers, speakers, media partners, audiences, and everyone who worked behind the scenes, thank you for becoming part of this year’s journey. Your time, energy, and commitment made this long-awaited recalibration possible. Every moment of celebration was made meaningful because of the people who chose to show up for student cinema.

This festival’s return after seven years would not have carried the same impact without the community that stood behind it every step of the way.

From all of us at the Thomasian Film Society, thank you for being part of the growing Filmily. Until the next frame, see you again next year. 😉💛

Happiest Birthday, Sofia! 🩷✨

Your presence in the organization is a steady assurance, someone the Filmily can always rely on when decisions need clarity and direction. As our Vice President for Finance, you carry responsibility with calm confidence, making sure that every choice is aligned with what the organization truly needs.

You are someone who consistently steps up, especially in moments where precision and accountability matter most. Whether behind planning, problem-solving, or ensuring everything is in order, your reliability never wavers. You don’t hesitate to take on what is needed, and that quiet commitment strengthens everyone around you. The organization moves with more stability because you are part of it.

“Through Their Eyes: Kasama sa Habi ng Buhay” culminates its immersion journey in Sitio San Martin, Bamban, Tarlac

Last May 9-10, The Thomasian Film Society has successfully completed its 2-day, 1-night community immersion and advocacy project held in Sitio San Martin, Bamban.

Designed as a platform for cultural understanding and sustainable engagement, the initiative brought Thomasians closer to the lived realities of the Aeta community through direct participation in daily life activities. Participants took part in storytelling exchanges and simple household tasks, allowing for a deeper appreciation of community practices and traditions.

The Thomasian Film Society extends its gratitude to the host community for their openness and trust, making this meaningful exchange possible.
