With hearts full of gratitude, we thank everyone who donated and made this journey possible. Because of your generosity, we were able to build a mushroom growing house and provide 1,500 fruiting bags to the resilient women of Fatima Village. 💛

From the initial community needs assessment in February, to the production of fruiting bags and construction of the growing house in April, and finally, the mushroom cultivation lecture, hands-on training, and turnover on May 5—this has been a journey of hope, learning, and transformation. ☀️

With the support of the Department of Agriculture, the women also received expert-led training in mushroom farming—equipping them with the skills and confidence to begin this new livelihood. 🍄‍🟫

Together, we are cultivating more than mushrooms—we’re cultivating livelihoods, dignity, and a brighter future. 💛☀️

In Fatima Village, many families struggle to make ends meet, with most surviving on less than ₱3,000 a month. Limited job opportunities have left many women unemployed, relying solely on their husband's income to support their households. Without access to sustainable livelihoods, breaking free from financial hardship remains a challenge, making it difficult for them to provide basic needs, secure proper housing, and create better opportunities for their children.

Through Salin-Liwanag, we aim to empower these families by fostering economic opportunities, promoting financial stability, and paving the way for a brighter future. 🌞
