Today, the PB Family celebrates not only your birthday, Kuya Ronnie, but also the passion, love, and dedication you continue to give to Philippine culture and to the people who journey with you.
Through your work as Creative Director of the Philippine Baranggay Folk Dance Troupe, you have carried PB’s mission of Research, Education, and Performance forward with purpose and heart. Through teaching, choreography, productions, cultural research, and collaboration, you continue to create spaces where culture can be learned, shared, celebrated, and passed forward.
Your work has also reached far beyond PB, through our continuing collaborations with our sister and partner organizations around the world, including the Villamor Banhaw Dance Troupe, the Lahing Kayumanggi Dance Company in London and the Kalinangan Amman in Jordan. Across borders and generations, your advocacy reminds us that culture connects us, strengthens community, and gives us a deeper understanding of who we are.
Perhaps your greatest contribution is not only what you have created, but the people you have inspired, nurtured, guided, and empowered to continue the journey.
