While our juniors were making us proud at SEAJIC 2026, our senior players were also battling it out at Philippine Satellite #2 2026. 🇵🇭

The results weren’t always what we hoped for, but the lessons and examples they set for our younger players were just as valuable.

🥈 Jemyca Aribado fought her way to a silver medal finish.

Aerra Relano, Lizette Reyes, Jonathan Reyes, Van-Aero Dalida, and David Pelino all finished in the 5/8 bracket, gaining valuable experience against tough competition.

Not every story ends on the podium. Reymark Begornia suffered an ankle sprain and was unable to advance to the semis, while Christopher Buraga’s campaign was cut short after sustaining an ACL injury and having to retire from the tournament.

What stood out most was how this group continued to show up, compete, and support one another despite the setbacks. Their grit and determination did not go unnoticed by our younger athletes competing at the same time in SEAJIC. Hopefully, seeing their seniors fight for every point, every game, and every match reminds them that success in squash isn’t just about winning—it’s about having the courage to keep going when things don’t go your way.

We’re proud of every player who stepped on court last week. The wins are celebrated, the losses are learned from, and the journey continues.

4th Southeast Asian Junior Individual Championships 2026 was more than medals, it was a glimpse of the future of Philippine squash. 🇵🇭

Our National Youth Training Pool (NYTP) once again showed the results of hard work and consistent training:

These achievements reflect the pathway we are building.. from grassroots development to the national training pool. We hope our younger GDP athletes see what is possible through dedication, discipline, and perseverance.

The wait is over.

Today, the 4th Southeast Asian Junior Individual Championships 2026 officially begins at the National Squash Center in Manila, bringing together the region’s most promising junior squash athletes for five days of competition, sportsmanship, and regional camaraderie.

Representing seven Southeast Asian nations, these young athletes will compete with pride, determination, and passion as they pursue championship honors and create memories that will last a lifetime.

The event, however, WILL PROCEED AS SCHEDULED at:
