With the theme “𝑹𝒐𝒐𝒕𝒔 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝑯𝒐𝒓𝒊𝒛𝒐𝒏𝒔: 𝑶𝒖𝒓 𝑺𝒉𝒂𝒓𝒆𝒅 𝑯𝒆𝒓𝒊𝒕𝒂𝒈𝒆, 𝑶𝒖𝒓 𝑪𝒐𝒍𝒍𝒆𝒄𝒕𝒊𝒗𝒆 𝑭𝒖𝒕𝒖𝒓𝒆,” this year’s colloquium brings together researchers, heritage advocates, students, and professionals to explore how our cultural heritage shapes the spaces we live in—and the future we build together.

Great architecture is shaped by voices that challenge perspectives and inspire new thinking. As Archinet celebrates its 20th year, the National Architecture Symposium brings together architects whose work influences design across cultures and contexts.

This year’s symposium proudly features:

Abelardo Tolentino - Founder and CEO of Aidea Inc., he is a visionary leader of one of the most prominent firms in the country and in the world. He continues to lead the charge of BIM technology in architectural design.

Saul Kim - Founder of Saul Kim Studio, an architectural designer, thinker, and educator whose work challenges conventional design and encourages new ways of experiencing space and architecture.

Fumihiko Sano - Architect and artisan from Japan and founder of Fumihiko Sano Studio, recognized for creating spaces that blend local history and culture with contemporary design.

Hua Li - Founding Principal Architect of Trace Architecture Office (TAO) in Beijing, known for projects that reimagine form and design while responding deeply to place, culture, and environment.

Speaker Spotlight: Hua Li

Hua Li, a distinguished speaker at the National Architecture Symposium, will present the Museum of Handcrafted Paper in Tengchong, China. This project demonstrates how traditional practices can be integrated with contemporary design, linking architecture, craft, and landscape.

𝙒𝙚’𝙫𝙚 𝙨𝙩𝙚𝙥𝙥𝙚𝙙 𝙤𝙪𝙩 𝙤𝙛 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙨𝙩𝙪𝙙𝙞𝙤 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙞𝙣𝙩𝙤 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙝𝙚𝙖𝙧𝙩 𝙤𝙛 𝘽𝙚𝙣𝙞𝙡𝙙𝙚 𝘼𝙧𝙘𝙝𝙞𝙩𝙚𝙘𝙩𝙪𝙧𝙚

The 𝗣𝗼.𝗥𝗲 ‘𝟮𝟱-’𝟮𝟲 opening was a moment we won't soon forget. Seeing the community show up for Benilde Architecture reminded us that this is what it’s all about—the shared passion, the creative dialogue, and seeing months of drafting build a presence beyond the studio walls. 🏗️

It’s one thing to see a design on a screen, but seeing the work come to life surrounded by this kind of energy is exactly why we do what we do.
