𝐉𝐏𝐈𝐀 𝐔𝐄 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐥𝐚 𝐒𝐞𝐜𝐮𝐫𝐞𝐬 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐦𝐩𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩 𝐓𝐢𝐭𝐥𝐞 𝐚𝐭 𝐔𝐒𝐓’𝐬 𝟓𝐭𝐡 𝐉𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐨𝐫 𝐀𝐜𝐜𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐠𝐞: 𝐕𝐢𝐫𝐢𝐝𝐢𝐚 – 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐆𝐨𝐥𝐝𝐤𝐞𝐞𝐩𝐞𝐫’𝐬 𝐀𝐜𝐜𝐨𝐥𝐚𝐝𝐞

The University of the East - Manila, through its Junior Philippine Institute of Accountants (JPIA) representatives, once again demonstrated outstanding academic excellence after being crowned Champion in the 𝟱𝘁𝗵 𝗝𝘂𝗻𝗶𝗼𝗿 𝗔𝗰𝗰𝗼𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗴𝗲 𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝘁𝗹𝗲𝗱 “𝗩𝗶𝗿𝗶𝗱𝗶𝗮: 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗚𝗼𝗹𝗱𝗸𝗲𝗲𝗽𝗲𝗿’𝘀 𝗔𝗰𝗰𝗼𝗹𝗮𝗱𝗲”. The competition was hosted by the University of Santo Tomas – JPIA in partnership with Deloitte, and held on April 11, 2026, at UST.

Representing UE Manila were 𝗝𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗻 𝗟𝗼𝘂𝗶𝘇 𝗩𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗮, 𝗦𝗲𝗮𝗻 𝗚𝗮𝗯𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗲 𝗕. 𝗚𝗮𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗴, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗗𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗔𝗻𝗱𝗿𝗲𝗶 𝗚. 𝗦𝗮𝗿𝗺𝗶𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗼, who competed against 22 universities and colleges nationwide. The team showcased exceptional dedication, confidence, and mastery of accounting concepts, ultimately securing the championship title.

We are incredibly proud of their achievement and for bringing honor to JPIA UE Manila.

Prepare for your Final Departmental Examinations for this school year, scheduled on Friday and Saturday, April 24–25, 2026. Please check your classroom assignments and exam schedule based on your year level and section. Refer to the image provided for complete details.

Junior Philippine Institute of Accountants - University of the East (JPIA-UE) Manila Chapter’s 11th Panfilo O. Domingo Cup Jr. was held on 17 March at the University of the East Manila. The event is an annual quiz bee that sharpens minds, promotes academic excellence, and fosters camaraderie among aspiring accounting professionals.

Audit and Assurance Assistant Manager Neshel Sinco and Associate Grant Martin Fadriquela served as arbiters, playing a key role in ensuring a fair and engaging quiz bee.

IN PHOTOS | UE Mnl JPIA holds annual POD Cup quiz bees

The University of the East (UE)-Manila Junior Philippine Institute of Accountants (JPIA) held the senior and junior editions of the Panfilo O. Domingo (POD) Cup on March 16 and 17, respectively, with quizzers coming from schools across Metro Manila.

Besting 16 other teams, the Polytechnic University of the Philippines (PUP)-Manila clinched championship at the 13th POD Cup Sr titled “The Golden Circle: Final Call of the Chosen.”

In the 11th POD Cup Jr. named “The Secret Service: Breaking Into the World of Mastery,” National University (NU)-Manila rose above eight other teams, clinching gold medals.

Trailing PUP Manila in the senior cup were De La Salle University (DLSU)-Manila and Dr. Filemon C. Aguilar Memorial (DFCAM) College of Las Piñas, finishing as first and second runners-up, respectively.

In the junior division, University of Caloocan City (UCC)-North secured the first runner-up award, while NU Mall of Asia placed second runner-up.

POD Cup is the annual invitational cup of JPIA UE Manila, exclusively open for other schools with no representative from UE Manila competing in the event.

𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗠𝗶𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗘𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗲𝘀 𝗙𝗼𝗿𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱 🔍📣

On March 16–17, 2026, the brightest accounting students across Luzon converged at the University of the East – Manila for the 13th Panfilo O. Domingo Cup Sr.: The Golden Circle – Final Call of the Chosen.

Day 1 marked the seniors’ battlefield, where Team AAA and Team AJX-SL rose to the challenge, demonstrating intellect, discipline, and strategic precision in every round. Each question pushed limits, proving that excellence is earned under pressure.

On March 17, the spotlight turned to the juniors as Team Brusko stepped into the arena with determination and composure. In a space where accuracy and critical thinking reign, they embraced the challenge and carved their own path toward mastery.

Across both days, one truth remained: this was more than a competition—it was a defining moment for future leaders in accounting.

The circle has closed. The call was answered.
And those who stepped forward have left their mark.
