The Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations - Philippines continues to strengthen its partnership and collaboration with the Climate Change Commission PH towards Climate Resilient Agriculture in the Philippines.

Through the Green Climate Fund-funded Adapting Philippine Agriculture to Climate Change (APA) Project, CCC, as the lead policy-making body of the Philippine government on climate action, helps ensure that Climate Information Services (CIS) and Climate Resilient Agriculture are deeply integrated into the Local Climate Change Adaptation Plans (LCCAP) of local government units. CCC serves as a vital member of APA Project's Steering Committee.

The APA Project is a seven-year collaboration of the Department of Agriculture - Philippines , DOST-PAGASA , and FAO Philippines, aimed at strengthening the resilience of Filipino farmers against climate risks.

Antimicrobial resistance (AMR) threatens the health of humans, animals, plants, and ecosystems, emphasizing the significance of coordinated action across sectors.

The Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations - Philippines participated in and supported the 39th Meeting of the Inter-Agency Committee on Antimicrobial Resistance (ICAMR), reaffirming its commitment in supporting the implementation of the Philippine National Action Plan on AMR (PNAP-AMR) 2024-2028 through existing and upcoming initiatives.

The meeting provided a platform to discuss progress on national AMR priorities, share emerging research findings, and align national efforts with regional and global initiatives. FAO also shared updates on the AMR Multi-Partner Trust Fund (AMR MPTF), Pandemic Fund 3 Project, and opportunities to strengthen One Health coordination, surveillance, stewardship, and community engagement.

Through sustained multisectoral collaboration and evidence-based action, stakeholders continue to advance efforts to address AMR and protect the health of people, animals, and the environment.
