Governor Dakila Carlo “Dax” Enriquez Cua, who died at the age of 48 on Tuesday, September 15, 2026, is being mourned by Nation Builders and MOSLIV Awards.

Born on November 4, 1977, in Quezon City, Cua assumed the governorship of Quirino in 2019, having previously served as governor from 2007 to 2010. From 2010 to 2019, he represented Quirino’s lone congressional district in the House of Representatives, following his tenure as vice governor from 2001 to 2007.

Cua played a role in several major legislative initiatives during his political career. He was the principal author of the TRAIN Law and Republic Act No. 10230, which established Quirino State University, and co-authored the Rice Tariffication Law, Ease of Doing Business Act, and Philippine Competition Law.

He was the eldest son of former Quirino Governor Junie Cua and Maria Angela Enriquez-Cua. He was married to Midy Cua, the incumbent representative of Quirino, and they had three children.

His death is a profound loss to Quirino Province and to the people he served throughout much of his life.

Our deepest condolences to the Cua family, their loved ones, friends, colleagues, and the entire people of Quirino. May they be granted strength, comfort, and peace in this difficult time.

Let’s reminisce on the meaningful moments from the Breast and Cervical Cancer Prevention (BCCP) Project as it successfully reached Barangay Luntal, Taal, Batangas last May 16, 2026. 💗

Through the initiative led by Sustainability Standards Inc. together with its valued partners, 94 women in the community received free breast and cervical cancer screenings — promoting early detection, cancer awareness, and accessible healthcare services for women, especially in rural communities.

The event also featured a vibrant health awareness parade joined by Miss World Philippines queens and advocates, inspiring residents to prioritize women’s health and wellness. 🌸

With the power of collaboration and community support, the BCCP Project continues its mission of empowering women and building healthier communities across Batangas.

𝓟𝓪𝓽𝓲𝓮𝓷𝓽𝓼 𝓞𝓻𝓲𝓮𝓷𝓽𝓪𝓽𝓲𝓸𝓷 💜🩺

As part of the Breast and Cervical Cancer Prevention (BCCP) Project, a Patients Orientation was conducted to provide participants with essential information regarding women’s health, cancer prevention, early detection, and available healthcare services.

The orientation aimed to educate and empower women through health awareness discussions, proper screening procedures, and the importance of regular medical check-ups in preventing breast and cervical cancer. Participants were also guided on the significance of early diagnosis, healthy lifestyle practices, and community support in promoting overall well-being.

Through this initiative, Sustainability Standards Inc., together with its partners and healthcare advocates, continues to strengthen its commitment to accessible healthcare, health education, and women empowerment within the community of Brgy. Luntal, Taal, Batangas. 🌸✨
