Virlanie was founded in 1992 by Dominique Lemay, a French social worker, in partnership with Filipinos. Since that time, Virlanie has looked after more than 22,000 children in Metro Manila. Virlanie bases its dozens of projects on three core programs: street, residential, and community with three support services: health, education, and training. Virlanie is a strong supporter of the children’s Right to Education and their Right to have a Family. As an organization, we are committed to answering the needs of the children in our care to the best of our intellectual, emotional, and organizational capabilities.

Cheska is one of the lead singers of Virlanie Voices. Through Virlanie, she was able to discover and strengthen her passion for singing. This eventually led to her being able to travel to various countries in Europe performing with fellow members of the choir, who she also considers to be some of her closest friends. Our kids enjoyed a sunny day out at The Fun Farm at Sta. Elena, where they did many outdoor activities such as horseback riding, ziplining, carabao riding, duck feeding, boat riding, and more!

Thank you so much to The Fun Farm team for welcoming us with so much warmth. We hope to see you all again soon!

As one of our partners, Allegis Global Solutions (AGS) conducts tutorials for our Residential Program beneficiaries from Aime and Masaya Home.

Their tutorials offer our kids assistance in various areas – from academic, life skills such as cooking, and physical activities like dancing. Our kids are grateful to be given the opportunity to enrich their mind and skills outside of school.
