The 𝟰𝘁𝗵 𝗝𝗮𝗽𝗮𝗻𝗲𝘀𝗲 𝗦𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵 𝗗𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗽𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗸𝘀𝗵𝗼𝗽 is now accepting abstract submissions until 31 August 2026, 5:00 PM (Manila Time). Emerging scholars are invited to submit their abstracts for the opportunity to refine their research, receive mentorship from experts, and engage with fellow researchers in the growing field of Japanese Studies.

✨ It’s been three weeks since the epic STELLA DANCE JAM: Philippines x Japan Friendship 2026, held at The Theatre at Solaire last June 20–21, 2026, and organized by The Japan Foundation.

Let’s look back on some of the electrifying performances from our incredible homegrown talents and international guests. The stage came alive with powerhouse performances from global choreographer and dance icon RIEHATA, the RHT Family, and the selected “Stellas” from the Philippines and Japan—RH PH and RH JP. On June 20, the Kings of P-pop, SB19, took the stage as special guest performers and had the entire venue vibrating with their powerful vocals and signature dance moves. On June 21, XONARA and J2X kept the momentum going, captivating the audience and lighting up the stage with their performances.

More than just a dance event, it was a celebration of friendship, creativity, and collaboration—bringing communities together through movement and a shared passion. We hope this marks the beginning of even more meaningful exchanges and opportunities for future generations of dancers, performers, and movers.

Last June 27, we kicked off the first day of our toy exhibition in Iloilo with fun and folding through a Paper Toy Making Workshop! 📃✂️🖍️

Ilonggo artist Noli Umahag of Piod Paper Crew shared about his exciting career creating toys purely out of paper and how this has initiated collaborations and projects around and outside Iloilo! Participants then got to folding to make their own paper toys, which led to an afternoon of creativity and imagination!
