I'm sure you've all seen Scott around! The Hub wouldn't be the same without him! 💚

As our Chief Executive, Scott has been helping steer the ship since 2018, leading our team, championing our mission, and helping ensure The Hub continues to support local whānau and strengthen our community.

Whether he's behind the scenes planning, meeting with partners, supporting staff, or lending a hand where needed, Scott's passion for people shines through in everything he does.

Thanks for your leadership, dedication, and all the mahi you put into The Hub. We appreciate you, Scott! 👏💚

Family Court can be confusing, stressful, and overwhelming, especially when you don't know where to start. The good news? You don't have to navigate it alone. 💚

Every second Monday, a Kaiārahi Family Court Navigator is available at The Hub, offering free and confidential support to help you understand the process, explore your options, and connect with the right services.

They can help with:
✔️ Understanding Family Court processes and terminology
✔️ Finding community and out-of-court support
✔️ Overcoming barriers and staying involved in proceedings
✔️ Connecting with agencies and services that can help

Available at The Hub every second Monday from 9:30am–12:00pm

Who’s had the chance to meet our incredible Food Operations Manager, Clare? 💚

You’ll find her hard at work out in our foodbank, sorting donations, packing orders, and helping make sure food gets out to community organisations and local whānau who need it most.

Clare works tirelessly behind the scenes to keep everything running smoothly, and we are so grateful for the care, dedication, and heart she brings to The Hub every single day. 🙌

That loaf of bread forgotten in the pantry, leftovers left untouched, or vegetables that never got used all add up over time.

By planning meals, checking what you already have before shopping, and getting creative with leftovers, you can stretch your grocery budget further while reducing food waste at the same time.

Small habits can make a big difference for your budget, your household, and the environment! ♻️💚

Not everyone who walks through our doors needs the same thing.

For some, it's food.
For some, it's connection.
For some, it's practical support.
For others, it's simply knowing someone cares.

Whatever your situation, there's a place for you here. 💚

Who’s had the privilege of meeting Tangi, our wonderful social worker? 💚

Tangi has been part of The Hub family for quite some time now, and we absolutely love having her on our team. She brings such incredible knowledge, compassion, understanding, and care into every conversation and every person she supports.

We are so grateful for all that you do, Tangi, and for the difference you make in the lives of so many in our community. 🫶

We love supporting other incredible community groups making a real difference in Te Puke! ❤️

Every week, we’re privileged to provide food for the Shelter Recovery Group, where an amazing team prepare a free dinner for everyone who attends.

This programme is creating a safe and welcoming space for people affected by addiction, hardship, and social isolation, a place to belong, learn from others, and walk a journey of recovery together.

We’re so grateful to play a small part in what they’re doing in our community. 🙌

This is based out of Te Puke Anglican Church (47 Jocelyn Street) every Thursday at 6:30pm.
