Kia ora! Thanks to the Lotteries comission, we've been able to purchase some new toys, just in time for Easter! There are some double ups of our most popular toys, some replacements of old/broken toys and some totally new ones as well. These toys are brand new, so if you want to be the first to give them a whirl, see the rules below.

👉LIKE our post, COMMENT on the photo you'd like free rent on, and SHARE this post for an extra entry.
👉The competition will close 6pm Easter Monday. Names will be drawn randomly using an online generator. Winners will be contacted on Facebook Messenger. If there is no response within 24 hours we will draw again.
👉You must be a member of the toy library to take advantage of this offer. If you are not yet a member, we have a $15 trial membership, just bring down a form of photo ID and proof of address (this can be on your phone)

It's a wonderful time to join the toy library in Papamoa! We are a non profit organisation making it easier for families to enjoy great quality toys for a fraction of the cost of buying new. As we don't turn a profit, we rely on 2 main avenues to acquire new toys. Donations from families, and grants.

This year the NZ lottery grants board gave us a generous amount which has allowed us to purchase the following toys. Some, like the cruzee and rollercoaster are doubles of the most popular toys we already have. Some, like the tea set, bug viewer, golf set and mower, are replacements for toys we retired recently, due to breakage or age. And some are fun new toys we've never had before, like the teepee, motorised train sets, bowser castle, and steel shopping trolley.

We have also purchased a few figurines to add to sets donated by the public, which is a fantastic way of keeping toys out of landfill.

We really appreciate these grants, as do our members! Keep an eye on this space for a free rent giveaway, once the toys are input into our system 🫶🏼

I have just had Gorilla Mountain home for a super clean. What an awesome toy! Every adult through my door in the last few days had to have a play!
Now spring cleaned and ready to go out. R 601
