Calling all local businesses!

Trick-or-treat stall registrations for Halloween Walk the Waterways are open now.

Host a stall along the trail, decorate your space, meet the community, and hand out treats to thousands of trick-or-treaters this Halloween.

Spaces are free but limited - get in early.

Matariki Light Up the Waterways brought over 10,000 of you out to Te Ara o Wairākei to celebrate Matariki and Ururangi, and we're excited to share these moments with you.

It was so special being able to bring this event back to our community after a year away - thank you to everyone who came along, lit up the trail, and made it a night to remember.

A huge thank you to our Papamoa Community Patrol wardens who gave up their evening last night to help keep everyone safe at Matariki Light Up The Waterways.

Events like this only come together because people like you show up quietly and do the mahi without needing the spotlight. On behalf of everyone at Visit Pāpāmoa, and everyone who walked those waterways under Ururangi last night - ngā mihi nui.

Matariki: Light Up the Waterways
🕡 3-9pm
📍Pāpāmoa waterways, 107 Santa Monica Drive
Join Visit Pāpāmoa for a magical illuminated walking trail through the Pāpāmoa waterways.
👉 There's still tickets available! Secure your spot tinyurl.com/MatartikiLightTrail

🚗 Parking is available at Pāpāmoa Plaza, simply follow the event signage to the start of the walking trail.
‼️ Santa Monica Drive will be closed between Sandspit Way and Gravatt Road from 3–9pm, with roads reopening earlier if possible.
