Today I open my mind and heart to the many unique expressions of God. I am grateful for the opportunity to appreciate and learn from the rich cultures of Indigenous peoples. I honour their enduring presence, their deep relationship with the earth, and the wisdom carried through generations.

I choose to live in wonder and curiosity, learning from the many ways the Divine reveals itself through humanity. My soul is enriched by the diversity of voices, traditions, and stories comprised by our human family. Our differences are not divisions; they are sacred variations of the One Life expressing itself.

I keep an open heart knowing that through understanding one another, we remember our shared origin and our shared destiny.

Instead of giving up to circumstances and outer events we should remember that we are all very close to a kingdom of mind that would make us always happy and successful if we would cultivate it and make it and its laws a vital part of our life.

Our newsletter this Friday will focus on the power of Zeal. And we quote John Newton:

Zeal is that pure and heavenly flame,
The fire of love supplies;
While that which often bears the name,
Is self in a disguise.
True zeal is merciful and mild,
Can pity and forbear;
The false is headstrong, fierce and wild,
And breathes revenge and war.

Today I bless and give thanks for the wide array of creatures in my life. From the pets who provide companionship and comfort to the wild animals who inhabit the earth and contribute to its diversity, I appreciate and am enriched by them.

I also bless those special people who work to shape healthy attitudes toward the worldโ€™s creatures. Their work to educate others and protect various animal species is a great blessing.

I pray the animals in my life know peace, care, and kind, ethical treatment. I also pray a prayer of gratitude for my animal friends whose paws, claws, and hooves are no longer on the earth. They will always live in my heart.

01/10/2026

One of the best ways to prepare for a new beginning is to discover your soul's deepest desire. A true new beginning will become expressions of this desire. And how do we discover our souls desire? This is an extremely personal endeavour, so it's difficult to give a formula answer. Yet there are some questions that you can ask yourself in order to facilitate this discovery:

The external new beginning may occur before or after we feel ready for it; It may be expected or unexpected. And yet, as we pray for guidance and divine order, trusting in God at work in our life the new beginning will occur at exactly the right time and in the right way. And we will be equal to any task that life brings to us, for we are never given a challenge beyond our ability to master it.
