🚗Last week Rachael and Mark, our licence tutors spent three days at Tararua College working alongside their careers teachers and 15 awesome rangatahi to achieve their Learners Licence.
We worked in partnership with who set up at the college on the last day to allow them to sit their test on site.
Partnerships like this are essential for our rural rangatahi, to transport them all to their closest AA centre would be a financial and logistical challenge and a barrier to them achieving.
A huge THANK YOU to Therese and the AA who also provided these students with a set of L Plates each to support them on the next phase of their driving journey🚙

The 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗴 𝗥𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺𝗺𝗲 kicked off today with our 'Speed Date an Editor' event which saw school children from across the region come to the ANZAC Hall for some hands on learning with our three amazing presenters 𝗣𝗶𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗙𝘂𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗿, 𝗖𝗹𝗮𝗶𝗿𝗲 𝗠𝗮𝗯𝗲𝘆 and 𝗞𝗿𝗶𝘀𝘁𝘆 𝗠𝗰𝗚𝗿𝗲𝗴𝗼𝗿. Thank you to REAP for their support of this event, our presenters & our wonderful volunteers.
