Hospice Wairarapa is seeking a compassionate and capable Social Worker or Social Work Assistant to join our specialist palliative care team. In this role, you'll support patients and whānau as they navigate the practical, emotional, and social challenges that can arise at the end of life.

What a day! ⛳️💙

Our Hospice Wairarapa Golf Day was an absolute cracker!

A huge thank you to everyone who came along, played, volunteered, sponsored, donated prizes, fed us and helped make the day happen. We couldn't do it without the incredible support of our Wairarapa community.

Great golf (and perhaps a few questionable shots 😉), plenty of laughs, fantastic food and most importantly, money raised to support Hospice Wairarapa.

⏰When the buzzer goes at 10am on Friday, approximately 120 golfers will be teeing off at Carterton Golf Club Inc . And their bellies will be full with a hearty breakfast supplied and cooked by great sports Dave and Jennah Wairarapa! 🥓🍔

They are known for bringing their boundless energy to the golf day and we can't wait to see them on-course.

Hospice Wairarapa would like to sincerely thank the wonderful volunteers who lovingly created and donated woollen squares following the Wairarapa Wool Weekend. 🧶

Special thanks to James Herbison for generously giving his time and skill to stitch the squares together into these beautiful blankets. We are also incredibly grateful for the generous financial donation made in support of Hospice Wairarapa.

These beautiful blankets will provide warmth and comfort to our clients during times of need. 🧡
