The Anderson House Trust Annual General Meeting is being held on Thursday 7th May 2026 at 4.30pm at The House at 91 McIvor Road, Invercargill.
The Trust have great visions for more exhibitions and events to be held at this majestic house, and need more volunteers to keep the house alive.

The sun is now out, so grab the family and head out to Anderson Park to grab a burger or a coffee from Industry and have a look through Anderson House. A very iconic heritage building in Southland. Te Wharepuni o Anehana is also open today.

The weather is clearing! not that it scares us (we're not made of candy floss 😂) so get your jackets on and come on down for a visit at Anderson House today , it is simply beautiful 🥰

Come and celebrate the 100th birthday of Anderson House this week end.
Bundle up the kids, grab the grandees and come to Anderson Park and house to make more memories at this iconic historical house in Southland. The house will be open daily from 11am - 4pm with many groups occupying the rooms with displays and stalls including Heritage Roses, Antique Circle, Herb Society and many more plus Rhythm & Brass playing in the grounds and Industry Cafe serving food and coffee

Anderson House will be open to the public on Saturday 28th - Sunday 29th March 11-4pm daily to celebrate 100 years of the house. Come and enjoy the park with bush walks, beautiful gardens, fantastic play ground, the Sid Food Trailer will be there and time to explore the beautiful house. Gold coin donations are welcome.

The Anderson House Trust is seeking expressions of interest from suitably qualified and experienced parties to operate the café at Anderson House, McIvor Road, Invercargill.

This is an opportunity to run a café within a well-established heritage and community venue, serving park visitors, event attendees, and the wider community.

Interested parties should demonstrate relevant hospitality experience, a strong customer focus, and the ability to operate a café in keeping with the character and values of Anderson House.
