PRODUCT SAFETY RECALL: RAINBOW SAND & CREATISTICS COLOURED SAND
If you have Rainbow Sand (Educational Colours) or Creatistics Coloured Sand, please stop using it immediately.
Testing has found a type of asbestos in samples of these sands.
What to do:
Don’t open or use the sand
Seal it in a strong plastic bag or sturdy container and keep it in a secure place, away from tamariki
Don’t dispose of it in your wheelie bin - follow Health New Zealand advice for disposal

As measles continues to spread across Aotearoa, Whānau Āwhina Plunket teams are moving fast to stand up pop-up clinics wherever whānau need us most.

Working alongside Health New Zealand - Te Whatu Ora and local partners, our nurses are delivering immunisations in the heart of communities (Plunket centres, mobile and event-based clinics) so it’s easier for whānau to get protected in places they already know and trust. We've also made the MMR vaccine available to the whole whānau (this includes tamariki, rangatahi AND adults), so we can check if anyone in the whānau needs immunising.

We’re proud to be playing our part in the national measles response.
