We are deeply saddened by the passing of Dr Asad Mohsin.

Since joining the HMS Trust Board in 2018, he made a meaningful and lasting impact through his leadership, advocacy, and commitment to our migrant and refugee communities.

Dr Asad played a key role in strengthening our partnerships, including our MoUs with the University of Waikato and the Waikato Muslim Association. His lifelong dedication to community service and education has touched many lives across New Zealand and beyond.

Our thoughts are with his whānau, friends, and community.

He will be deeply missed and warmly remembered.
